Fire Emergency Evacuation Plan
It is a legal requirement to ensure the safe evacuation of everyone, including impaired persons, in an emergency. There is a common misunderstanding that it is the responsibility of the emergency services to ensure the safe evacuation of persons.
The evacuation chair is a cost-effective method of ensuring the safe evacuation of non-ambulant persons from the upper or lower levels of buildings in the event of an emergency, or when lifts cannot be used due to maintenance or breakdown.
Fire Evacuation Drills & Reports
Fire Evacuation Drills should be conducted to simulate fire conditions and to test fire procedures. All staff should be conversant with the premises evacuation procedures and take part in fire evacuation drills at least once and preferably twice per year.
Fire Safety Signs
Fire Safety Services supply and install fire safety signs covering emergency escape routes, location and identification of fire fighting equipment, fire action notices, hazard warning and prohibition signs.
Fire Safety Services’ training courses are run by our own trainers and certificates of attendance are awarded to all delegates. We offer a comprehensive range of courses.
